National Convention on Guiding Principles for Education

National Convention on Human Rights Guiding Principles for Education was organized by National coalition for Education on 11th December, 2017 at Vishva Yuvak Kendra, New Delhi. The convention discussed Human Rights Guiding Principles and other international instruments for education and further examined its relevance at national context. The convention was attended by 129 participants from 19 states of India. Participants included academicians from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), National University of Education, Planning and Administration (NUEPA) and South Asian University (SAU), CSOs, representatives from 3 Teachers Union (AISTF, AIPTF, AIFTO) and Media persons.
